In 2004, WhiteSpace relocated to the renovated Dickson Transfer Company Building within downtown Akron's historic district. Built in 1903, the newly restored Transfer Building features exposed ductwork, translucent interior walls and contemporary fixtures as a stark contrast to its original high ceilings, pavered floors and sand-blasted brick walls. The space is surrounded by bright colors and natural overhead light that only add to WhiteSpace's sense of fun and creativity. The renovation of a historic building, which has stood vacant for decades, also helps symbolize WhiteSpace's commitment to helping revitalize our community.
