WhiteSpace Creative Promotes Four Employees

Contributions throughout agency lead to expanded roles

AKRON, Ohio (July 28, 2015) – In a continued effort to enhance client and creative services, WhiteSpace Creative, an Akron-based strategic integrated marketing communications agency, recently promoted four employees. Derek Stulpin was named associate creative director, interactive; Alan Ashby was appointed account supervisor; and Bethany English and Lyndsay Offenberger were both promoted to account manager.

“Derek, Alan, Bethany and Lyndsay have all made unique and important contributions that have helped our clients succeed,” said Keeven White, president and founder of WhiteSpace Creative. “Their demonstrated level of leadership, expertise and dedication to the growth of our clients – and our agency – are key to WhiteSpace’s future.”

Stulpin has been a dedicated member of the WhiteSpace creative team since 2007. His diverse work, both for clients and on behalf of the agency, includes the design of the GDS website, both a 2015 Akron ADDY® and GDUSA award winner. As the associate creative director of interactive, he will balance UX best practices with visual design excellence.

Ashby joined WhiteSpace in 2013 as part of the Highland PR acquisition and quickly proved himself as a key member of the agency’s account management group. As account supervisor, he will continue to lead accounts such as the Akron Marathon, Kent State University and Lorain Public Library System, as well as help identify new client opportunities.

English, who also joined WhiteSpace as part of the 2013 Highland PR acquisition, is taking on expanded responsibility as account manager for clients such as the Akron Zoo, Veterans Service Commission of Summit County and Rite Aid Cleveland Marathon. Active within the community, she chairs the Akron Zoo Summer Safari publications sub-committee and serves on the Akron chapter of the American Advertising Federation (AAF-Akron) board.

WhiteSpace welcomed Offenberger as an account coordinator in 2014. In just over a year, she has shown a capability to assume increased responsibility as our agency and clients needs evolve. In her new manager role, she bears responsibility for high-profile accounts such as Signet Group and Parker Hannifin.
