We'll now have to share that space with a Budweiser. Mirrus has created, amongst others cool products, mirrors that display advertisements. The ad takes up the entire mirror until someone steps in front of it. It then shrinks into a corner leaving most of the mirror visible. Then it quickly takes over the entire mirror again as the person leaves.
Airports are the first place to experience this new media technology. 150 have been installed at Chicago O'Hare restrooms and they being well received by consumers and advertisers alike. Sports arenas are next and it won't take long to trickle down into grocery stores, restaurant chains and rest stops.
So, that Mirror in the Bathroom may just start talking back.
