AKRON, Ohio (July 24, 2015) – WhiteSpace Creative, an Akron-based strategic integrated marketing communications agency, recently announced two new additions, Copywriter Eric Morris and Public Relations Manager Patrick Alan Coleman, to accommodate growing content and PR-based service offerings.
“It’s great that we’ve found two qualified but also uniquely creative additions to the WhiteSpace team,” said Keeven White, WhiteSpace president and founder. “Content strategy, social media and integrated communications are quickly growing needs of our clients. These two new team members will help us continue to elevate our offerings to current and potential clients.”
Morris is an experienced wordsmith who generates innovative concepts and content for WhiteSpace clients. He collaborates with a team of marketing professionals to develop and recommend creative messaging solutions, approaches and styles, as well as performs meticulous editing and proofreading tasks. His diverse background ranges from publishing works of poetry and short stories to teaching creative writing and English composition at several Northeast Ohio colleges. Morris earned an MFA in creative writing from the Northeast Ohio Master of Fine Arts (NEOMFA) program and BA in English from The University of Akron. Active in the local community, Eric is a contributing writer for The Devil Strip , a monthly publication covering Akron’s music, art and culture, and a volunteer coach for the West Akron Baseball & Softball League (WABL).
“Since my background isn’t in traditional copywriting, I’ve been able to offer a unique and different view for our clients,” said Morris. “WhiteSpace has been a great learning experience so far for me.”
Coleman is an experienced PR specialist who helps develop and manage strategic PR programs, including media relations, social media campaigns and research, for the agency and its clients. Previously the PR and media relations manager at TTI Floor Care NA, located in Glenwillow, OH, he developed digital and print PR campaigns for a robust portfolio of highly recognized brands, including Dirt Devil, Hoover and Oreck. Coleman serves on the board of the Cleveland chapter of PRSA. He is a graduate of Portland State University with a BS in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies.
“My goal is offer a fresh perspective for our clients,” said Coleman. “With WhiteSpace’s range of creative talents and capabilities, I look forward to building deeper content strategies for our diverse clientele that will help them exceed their marketing goals.
