Agency Welcomes Guests to Social Media Cocktail Crawl With Informative Sessions
Akron, Ohio – On Friday, May 11, WhiteSpace, an integrated marketing agency, held a free social media cocktail crawl event to inform local small businesses, entrepreneurs, nonprofits and students on special topics in social media marketing. The event was set up with four stations, each with a different focus. Each station featured WhiteSpace team members sharing their insights along with a signature cocktail.
The different topics discussed were strategy and metrics, brand and tone, smartphone video and image hacks, and social graphics best practices.
“WhiteSpace is beyond excited for the opportunity to share our insight and showcase our talented team to the community,” said WhiteSpace President Keeven White. “It was great to make connections and bring together great minds.”
The event brought in 40 attendees and included two giveaways: Joe Pulizzi’s book Content, Inc., which went to KSU student Megan Luce, as well as a free social media audit from WhiteSpace Social Media Strategist Shon Christy, which went to Karen Starr from Hazel Tree Design Studio. All attendees received additional social media resources after the event.
Because of the success of the social media cocktail crawl, WhiteSpace plans on expanding the series with future networking events that follow the same fun “crawl” format.
