Social & Digital Strategist

Client Accountability: Develops digital strategies to complement visual solutions and support overall business goals

  • Creates and execute a content calendar to attract target audiences to client-owned channels such blogs, website, video, SEO and social media
  • Assists in the creation and management of WhiteSpace content channels
  • Produces lead generation by converting site traffic
  • Coordinates directly with clients in content development
  • Keeps ahead of industry trends, standard and compliances
  • Monitors & engages with community daily to build relationships
  • Retweeting, sharing, following, listening and participating with speakers at events
  • Initiating partner, customer, leader follows and interactions
  • Supervise reputation management
  • Conducts amplification efforts
  • Audience research, definition, sizing
  • Developing and deploying ad campaigns based on specific audiences
  • Measuring and refining
  • Conducts reporting

Company Accountability: Manages defined copy goals and strategies that support profitability and creative quality

  • Analyzes research to better leverage how agency approaches solutions
  • Assists in establishing copy budgets, timelines and estimates
  • Adheres to budgets, timelines and estimates, and notifies supervisor if cannot be met
  • Alerts account group of opportunities for increased profitability among clients/projects
  • Assists in writing, editing and proofing of WhiteSpace social content
  • Keeps supervisor informed of need to upgrade computer hardware/software
  • Enforces best practices and contributes to company knowledge-sharing effort
  • Commits to active role in company’s annual Pro-Bono Creative Marathon

Team Accountability: Maintains productive relationships with team and suppliers

  • Participates in creative process as defined by supervisor
  • Manages selection, coordination and direction of internal and external content resources and purchases for specific projects
  • Provides input during team meetings to ensure timely, accurate completion of assigned projects 
  • Collaborates to ensure traditional/digital/public relations synthesis of marketing efforts into overall client strategy
  • Supports team members in effectively presenting, selling and defending agency work/proposals 
  • Provides feedback on performance of team members and other staff as requested 

Product Accountability: Recommends visual solutions (as related to digital) that meet defined needs

  • Identifies and communicates key digital and social points to complement visual options
  • Ensures overall client voice and style preferences are created and followed
  • Writes accurate, on-target messaging and responses for all social channels
  • Creates and presents analytic reports for all digital channels

Individual Accountability: Acts in a professional and respectful manner

  • Supports a safe, positive and clean working environment
  • Strives to remain at forefront of industry by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
  • Conducts self evaluations of performance as requested
  • Submits accurate daily time sheets for supervisor approval
  • Carries out any other responsibilities deemed appropriate by supervisor
