The title might read Programmer/Technology Manager but Dan Berlyoung is more than your average “tech guy.” He’s an elbow grease fueled, all-encompassing Mr. Fix-it. Washing machines? Computers? A 1981 Jeep CJ-7? Dan’s seen ‘em all and fixed ‘em all. That same hands-on inventiveness informs every project Dan works on here at WhiteSpace. Dan brings decades of technology-related experience, working as a programmer, multimedia developer, self-employed entrepreneur, college instructor at The University of Akron and 30-year member of the Boy Scouts. (Okay, that last one isn’t technology related, but we admire his dedication to the BSA). While you might catch him sitting from time to time, Dan is usually standing vigilantly at his dual monitor set-up, working hard to make the digital dreams of WhiteSpace clients a reality. After Dan punches out for the day, he spends his time like any self-respecting American would — getting his jeep dirty and listening to ABBA much louder than recommended. Gimme, gimme, gimme a Dan after midnight, anyone?
