We asked Vice President Jen Snider to describe herself in five words – she provided eight. Classic Jen, always giving 160%. We’re glad Jen’s an overachiever because she plays a key part in all phases of the WhiteSpace talent management cycle, a role she easily slid into after spending 10+ years managing our creative team. Responsible for acquiring and retaining the area’s top resources, Jen designs and executes targeted talent development programs, as well as conducts interviews and ongoing needs assessments. She also oversees the agency’s own marketing and promotion efforts, from developing and driving WhiteSpace content initiatives to getting the agency involved in community and industry events. Basically, Jen finds awesome people and helps make them – and WhiteSpace – even better. As a former president and chairman of the American Advertising Federation (Akron Chapter), Girl Scouts of North East Ohio troop leader and autism advocate, Jen is invested in the community. In fact, she spearheaded the agency’s first decade of CreateAthon® involvement and has taken the helm again as the point person for our annual Pro-Bono Creative Marathon. Taking the helm comes naturally to Jen whose family heritage has actually been traced back to the Mayflower.
