Shiny-domed Shon Christy owns the stereotype that bald men are more dominant. He cites his mad slip ’n slide skills as proof, but WhiteSpace knows that Shon’s confidence comes from wielding 650+ strategy engagements. His success is simple if you break it down: 1. Shon is an industry innovator in results-driven social media, and 2. he believes social media is most successful when used for its intended purpose – to connect real people who can genuinely help each other. This philosophy fuels his work at WhiteSpace, where he’s constantly uncovering clients’ nuanced goals and crafting plans that utilize content and push to drive key strategic priorities. Refreshingly transparent, Shon is easy to collaborate with and worthy of your trust. In fact, he founded Ohio’s first social agency nearly a decade ago, has received oodles of awards (like the United Way of Summit County’s Young Philanthropist of the Year award), and has been recognized by LinkedIn for being in the top one percent of profiles viewed. Outside of work, Shon volunteers with the Rotary Club of Akron, raises money for Beckett’s Buddies (a fundraising group he launched to support those with Down syndrome) and spends time with his six – count ‘em, six! – kids. Speaking of, this guy is not too dominant to thank his wife for keeping his Google calendar (re: life) in order until he can figure out how to physically add more hours to the day.
