Associate Creative Director Susan Breen loves the cold, and she’s traveled as far as Nova Scotia, Germany, Sweden and Alaska to find it. Remember that pesky polar vortex? Susan’s idea of heaven. Makes sense, though – she’s probably the warmest person we know. A gentle and patient leader, Susan’s favorite part of her job is using her decades of diverse client experience and strong conceptual skills to mentor junior designers. As associate creative director, she also collaborates regularly with clients, helping to translate their nuanced objectives into successful campaigns that adhere to budget, scope and brand guidelines. We can name more than one brand whose guidelines we suspect she has tattooed inside her eyeballs (FDA guidelines included). From concept to final art, Susan’s top priority is ensuring that all creative is fresh, consistent and on brand. She researches exhaustively, doodles obsessively and listens wholeheartedly. Oh, and as a recipient of the Creativity 33 Award of Distinction and multiple gold, silver and Judge’s Choice ADDY® accolades, Susan designs pretty awesomely too. Outside of work, she can’t think of anything she’d rather do than go hiking with her beloved dogs. Unless Matt Damon calls.
